Now in its 44th year, the annual Eldorado Run for the Cure is the longest continuously operating footrace in Colorado. Returning in-person again in 2023, the beloved footrace passes through scenic Eldorado Springs Canyon State Park. The four-mile out and back course begins and ends at the newly renovated historic Eldorado Springs Pool, where runners can relax poolside and enjoy catered food and drink. This year the Colorado Cancer Foundation is working on a new course that will route runners into Eldorado Canyon State Park, avoiding interaction with cars on the main thoroughfare, so if you’ve enjoyed the run in the past this year should be even better.

This New Moon Gathering is hosted by Boulder's current Artist-in-Residence, Lio Bumbakini and the Eldorado Springs Art Center with the aim of providing guests an experience in healing and relaxation by means of sound bathing - in tandem and recognition of August's New Moon - also known as The Last New Moon of Summer.
The evening will begin with a short meet and greet, with time alotted for guests to situate themselves and groups in the areas around the sculpture garden. Please remember to bring a yoga mat, pillow, eye mask, and light cover for your own comfort.
The treat for the evening will be an hour-long sound bath, or better yet a Vibrational Sound Journey -- a meditative experience during which a group of people lie down and listen to resonant sounds. It often involves singing bowls, which create an echoing sounds. Sound bathing is often revered as a practice with healing properties.

Colorado currently has a Democratic Governor, a Democratic House, and a Republican Senate. However, the governor is term-limited out and a new governor will be elected in November. Right now, Democrats have 17 seats in the Colorado Senate and Republicans have 18 seats. Democrats need to flip one seat to flip the state senate, and turn Colorado into a Democratic trifecta state.
